This first assignment is interesting in that it brings me back to the kinds of things that I was doing years ago in the 180s. I must say, though, that this portion (the subtractive) can not exist solely as subtractive. It is nearly impossible to make separate solids with the push pull tool in Sketch-up. This means that this part of the assignment was more of a hybrid which started by deforming the original cube and then adding more pieces and changing their shape as well.
